Heating a large space

In the industrial sector it often involves heating or ventilating large halls and buildings. To do this in an energy-efficient way, Mark Eire offers various solutions.

Mark’s gas-fired air heaters are ideal for heating garages, warehouses and workshops. The Mark air heaters are commonly installed in combination with destratification fans. The ECOFAN W destratification fans ensure both optimum distribution of warm air and comfort in the room. A thermostatically-controlled ECOFAN W transports the warmth under the roof to the occupied area. As a result, the room warms up more quickly, and gas consumption can in some cases be reduced by up to 30%.

Do you want to cool in addition to heating? Then a VRF heat pump system is a good choice. A VRF system is a complete and energy-efficient climate system with an outdoor unit (heat pump), a piping circuit and at least one indoor unit. The system works like an air-to-air heat pump. Warm indoor air is discharged to the outside by the heat pump, cooling the room. In addition to cooling, a VRF system can also heat. Applications of a VRF system are mainly large buildings. Due to its large capacity, the MISTRAL MDX is very suitable for heating and cooling industrial halls, warehouses, distribution centres, showrooms and garages.

Reducing heat loss

Industrial buildings e.g. factory halls and distribution centers often have several large doorways in the building. A major disadvantage of this is that the warm air escapes and cold air flows in, resulting in additional heating costs. To prevent this, Mark Eire offers various types of air curtains.

An air curtain creates a separation between the cold(er) outside air and the warm(er) indoor air temperature. When entering the room, the visitor immediately experiences a comfortable temperature. In addition, the curtains ensure that dust, unpleasant smells and bugs do not enter the building. In this way, companies can keep their doors open in an energy-efficient manner.

Area heating

Sometimes large buildings are only partially used by employees. In that case it would be inefficient to heat the entire building! Area heating with radiant devices is a suitable solution. The black tube radiators and radiant panels, also known as infra-red heating, from Mark Eire can be used where heat is required.

When using radiant heating, the user experiences a comfortable feeling at a lower room temperature. Due to the short warm-up time and lower room temperature, radiant appliances can achieve high energy savings. In addition, with this type of ceiling heating one saves a lot of space and a room is heated without drafts, dust or air movement. The floor will also have a higher temperature, which provides extra comfort.
